Beat of My Drum - Nicola Roberts

The Girls Aloud singer, Nicola Roberts, premiered her debut single and video Beat of My Drum from her debut album Cinderella's Eyes which will be released in October 3 2011. The single will be released on June 5 2011 as a digital download and later as a physical single in the UK and was produced by Major Lazer, one of the producers of Beyonce's Run this World (Girls).   

This record is really cool, fresh and crazy better than Beyonce's Run this World (Girls). I am really surprised by this brilliant and audacious Pop Modern Song ! It sounds and makes me think of M.I.A for the beat, Justice for the chorus and Diana Vickers for this sweet and delicate voice. It was an unexpected move from Nicola and totally far away from the Girls Aloud sound.

This song allows to see a new personality and energy. It grows more and more being almost addictive. Nicolas has a strong n°1 Smash Hit in her hands... One of the Summer Anthem of this Year !!!
