Kiesza - Dearly Beloved

The Canadian Dance-Pop Princess, Kiesza, returns with a fresh new track called Dearly Beloved.

This single is new music from the Canadian pop star since the release of her debut album, Sound of a Woman. She made a huge breakthrough in 2014 with her number 1 hit Hideaway and worldwide follow-up Giant in my Heart and No Enemiesz.

Dearly Beloved, produced by three-time Grammy winning British electronic songwriter, producer and frequent Pet Shop Boys and Madonna collaborator Stuart Price, comes as a surprise after the hits we danced on in 2014 and 2015. Her previous work was focused on a mix of 90’s inspired House, Pop and R&B beats but with Dearly Beloved, we can sense Kiesza chose a completely different direction, something new and fresh.

The new track is a fresh pop-soul track with a disco kinda groove thanks to the funky guitar riff. The catchy hooks and repetition of the title is cleverly contagious. Now we have to wait if this new musical direction will take form in the next singles and above all the album.
